Where do I begin?! I play the Piano, Flute and Violin and have been taking lessons since the age of 6 with MANY, many different teachers. Trust me when I say Margarita is the best instrumental teacher I’ve ever had. She is always patient and supportive when teaching me the skills and techniques to be a great violinist. Because of her guidance, in just one year, I was able to transfer from “Beginner’s Strings” to now playing as a First Violinist for a full Orchestra. My son had been learning Violin for four years in a different music school before he joined Melbourne Violin Academy. The violin teacher turnover was high in the previous music school and at one point, they couldn't find a replacement teacher. That is when we found Margarita. My son's violin techniques, posture, and intonation improved significantly since he started training with Margarita. He also passed grade 3 & 4 AMEB repertoire exams within a short period of 15 months. Margarita has a natural talent in identifying the strengths and weaknesses of her students and devising teaching methods that bring out the best in them.
